Staying here was quite the experience! I loved the privacy of the capsule while still being able to socialize with other travelers in the lounge area. It was super clean, and I appreciated the daily fresh towels and pajamas provided. The location was perfect, just a quick walk to Akihabara Station and plenty of places to explore nearby. However, the luggage lockers were a bit tight, and I had to plan my shower schedule around the cleaning hours, which felt a little rushed. Overall, a neat spot for a solo traveler like me!

The location was perfect, just a quick walk to Akihabara Station.
Unfortunately, I found the overall experience to be quite cramped. The lockers were very narrow, making it difficult to store my belongings comfortably. I also struggled with the noise levels. it was hard to get a good night's sleep with all the comings and goings throughout the night. Additionally, the strict check-out time at 10 am added to the rushed feeling.

I enjoyed my stay at Akihabara Bay Hotel with its excellent location just a short walk from Akihabara Station, making it super easy to access transport. The capsule was relatively large, about 2m long, which was a pleasant surprise. Daily cleaning kept the pod neat and fresh. I found the lounge area quite inviting for hanging out and socializing with others. One of the downsides was the soundproofing. I could hear every little noise, which made it tough to sleep some nights. Lockers were a bit cramped, my wheelie duffle barely fit. The strict check-out time at 10 am felt rushed, especially when I had to leave my bags at reception. The limited bathroom hours added to the inconvenience, as I couldn’t shower during cleaning times. Staff communication in English was also a challenge. Despite these issues, I might come back for the location and overall cleanliness.

Recommend it for solo travelers

Not exactly inexpensive, but still reasonable for what you get.
